On Tuesday, June 5th 2007, Forbidden Planet NYC proudly hosted a screening of
Lionsgate new release FIDO, starring Billy Connolly, at Regal Cinemas 14. Mr.
Connolly was on hand, enjoying the film with the audience of fans, friends- and
zombies! That's right, zombies; FP customers whose fabulous gore and living dead
makeup were provided by our new friends Josh Potter (makeup guru extraodinaire)
and his talented crew, courtesy of our Broadway neighbors New York Costumes.
The theater capacity crowd often howled with laughter, with as many yucks coming
from the film as were provided by Billy, who graciously participated in an
intimate Q&A session following the film.
Forbidden Planet would like to thank Lionsgate films, Josh, and the entire
audience for making this such a special night. We would most especially like
to thank Mr. Billy Connolly whose consumate professionalism and infectious,
down to earth humor were a delight for all.
FIDO recently made its US debut at the 2007 Sundance Film Festival.

Fido is directed by Andrew Currie, and will be released by Lionsgate on June 15th, 2007.
The MPAA rating is R and running time is 91 minutes.
